COVID-19 restrictions have pretty much been lifted, but we would ask people to continue to take reasonable precautions and stay away if they have cold or flu-like symptoms, especially on Guest Nights when we tend to sit a bit closer together. It's up to you if you want to bring your own mic or wear a mask.

Our 2025 season kicked off in fine style, with the Rob Lear Band in January. February saw a welcome return of State of the Union: the first of two collaborations featuring Club Favourite, Brooks Williams, this one includes Boo Hewerdine. March saw another welcome return of Steve & Julie Wigley and Tony Fowkes: they delighted us with a balanced mix of songs featuring Steve & Julie performing as a duo and others featuring all three of them as Stonesthrow. In April, we had a brilliant night with the very funny Keith Donelly
May will see the return of Mick Ryan & Pete Harris, postponed from last year, and in June we have Shake me up, Sally.

Through our Zoomarounds, we have made so many new friends that might not have visited the club otherwise. As a result, we will continue hosting Zoomarounds on the Third Tuesday of every month so that they don't interfere with our live Club Nights. You can download the Zoom app to pretty much any device. Click on the button below to download the App for your device from the Zoom website.
Once you have Zoom working on your device, Join us in the meeting room using the number below (no passcode required). Please make sure that your Zoom profile lets everyone know who you are. It doesn't matter if you turn up late, but if you haven't visited us before, please join us about 15 minutes before the Scheduled Start Time to indroduce yourself to Ruth if you wish to perform. For everyone's benefit, please keep your microphone muted when other people are performing.
If you are joining us after the 8:30 p.m. Start Time, please ensure that you leave your microphone muted to avoid disturbing anyone who is performing at the time you join. We prefer to see everyone's face, but if you are feeling a bit self-conscious, by all means switch off your video feed and just listen.
We welcome ALL acoustic instruments and musical styles You could be anything from a beginner to a virtuoso, and we don't mind whether you wrote it yourself or borrowed it from someone else. We are not averse to a bit of poetry or purple prose either. Come along to play or just listen to others. We use the Function Room upstairs and the atmosphere is terrific. Come along and find out for yourself!
